Here’s the transcript of the video:
Hi Philippine Travelers! We just had lunch here at Golden Egg Eatery, one of the eateries along the highway going to Calinan, Davao City.
Calinan is in uptown, it is both a residential and a place where there are a lot of tourist attractions like the Philippine Eagle Center, Malagos Garden Resort and other mountain resorts here in Davao City.
Golden Egg Eatery is just one of the many restaurants here along the highway. It’s the go-to place if you want to eat hito or the local catfish. You can have it fried, cooked with coconut milk, it can also be grilled, it can also be cooked into adobo.
There are also a lot of other items on their menu just like kinilaw, tinolang manok, native chicken and a lot of other Filipino classics.
Golden Egg Eatery is just a simple eatery, what you would call a karinderya but it’s a little upgraded. An eatery is pretty much a very basic restaurant where you have tables and chairs, the same setup as a restaurant but it’s not really that special. But the food is special.
If I would rate this restaurant, or if I would rate Golden Egg
Eatery, I would give it a 3.5. It’s not that accessible, I only wish it is closer to where we live. Unfortunately it is not. The place can also do a little upgrade on the cleanliness but overall, it’s a good place to eat if you’re on your way to one of the attractions here in Calinan, Davao City.
