Prosecutors said Wednesday the former business manager for Alanis Morissette admitted embezzling more than $6.5 million from the singer and other celebrities and agreed to plead guilty to federal charges. Jonathan Todd Schwartz of Los Angeles was charged with wire fraud and filing a false tax return for failing to report the embezzled funds. Morissette sued Schwartz last year in Los Angeles Superior Court, but she later dropped the lawsuit. According to CBS News, Schwartz faces up to 23 years in federal prison if convicted. However, his plea deal calls for a sentence between four and six years.
